Probing Superconductivity at the Nanoscale

New advances

April 12 to 15, 2016 - Saas-Fee, Switzerland

Thank You all for coming to Saas-Fee and contributing to the success of this workshop!

Workshop

The workshop "Probing Superconductivity at the Nanoscale : New advances" takes place within the framework of the COST Action MP1201 ("Nanoscale Superconductivity: Novel Functionalities through Optimized Confinement of Condensate and Fields" - NanoSC ). It aims at exchanging knowledge, ideas and know-how between scientists in all cases where superconductivity is dealing with length scales of the order of the coherence length. Although the focus will be set on experimental techniques which are able to probe superconductivity at nanometric dimensions, the workshop is also open to experimental and theoretical works which deal with systems where the superconducting condensate is confined to or interacting with nanoscale domains. Around 40 participants are expected.
